The most popular dive sites
An overview of the most beautiful places we regularly visit.

Aow Leuk
Opposite Shark Island
A sheltered bay with stunning views and home to many young marine life. We often see young Blacktip reef sharks, garden eels, scorpion fish, and schools of yellowtail barracudas here. Ideal for shallow exercises during the Open Water course.

Chumpon Pinnacle
~5 km northwest of Nang Yuan
Majestic rock formations, abundant marine life, and a good chance of whale sharks. Fixed trip price ฿1,800. Second dive usually at Koh Nang Yuan or White Rock.

Green Rock
Ten northwest of Koh Nang Yuan
Spectacular dive site with adventurous passages through large arches, caves, and cracks. Home to the yellow margin triggerfish — expect a "trigger attack" during the breeding season.

Hin Wong Pinnacle
East coast of Koh Tao
A less visited east coast spot with blue soft corals, colorful sea fans, and sea whips. Second dive usually around the Lighthouse of Koh Nang Yuan.

Mango Bay
North of Koh Tao
A natural coral garden and breeding ground for young fish species. Perfect for snorkelers and beginner divers to make the transition to deeper sections.

Japanese Gardens
East of Koh Nang Yuan
Fantastic snorkeling and excellent conditions for beginner divers. Sandy bottoms for buoyancy exercises and a beautiful reef teeming with young life; sometimes the black-and-white striped sea snake.

Twin Peaks / Buoyancy World
West side of Koh Nang Yuan
Three rock pinnacles with a family of Clark's anemonefish protected by a ring of shells. To the north lies Buoyancy World — artificial structures that attract marine life and are perfect for practicing skills.

H.M.S Sattakut
30 m from Hin Pee Wee
A 48 m WWII military ship, sunk in June 2011 as an artificial reef. The keel lies at 27 – 32 m, the top of the mast at 18 m — a favored wreck dive for Advanced divers.

H.M.S Hanhak Sattru
Ao Mao Bay (east coast)
A quiet wreck on the east coast of Koh Tao, perfect for Advanced divers looking for a less visited location.

H.M.S Suphairin
No Name Pinnacle (west of Twins)
A deeper wreck next to No Name Pinnacle — calm, colorful, and excellent for wreck and deep training.

Shark Island
1 km from the southern tip of Koh Tao
Named for the fin shape of the island. Currents bring nutrient-rich water — expect groupers, turtles, and schools of butterflyfish in the shallows.

South West Pinnacle
~7 km southwest of Koh Tao
A row of pinnacles with wall dives and a variety of marine life: snapper, trevally, barracuda, gorgonians, and whip corals. One of our favorites — fixed price ฿1,600.

White Rock
West side of Koh Tao
One of the most popular spots in Koh Tao, for both day and night dives. Honeycomb groupers, black sea urchins, soft corals, and colorful Christmas tree worms.
